In Arthur Lost and Found Arthur and his friend Buster learn an important lesson as they attempt to take a bus journey across town on their own for the very first time. Although they are both a little nervous they take their courage in both hands and set off, unfortunately their careful plans go slightly awry when they fall asleep on the bus and miss their stop and end up in a part of town they do not know. Their adventure then begins in earnest but they use their initiative and enlist the help of a friendly bus driver who helps them return safe and sound to their family.
Arthur Lost and Found is a book that highlights one of the many fears both adults and children harbour and in a relaxed and enjoyable way raises issues which can then be discussed further. Age 3 and over. --Miranda Warren
