About the Author:
Hilda Offen is both author and illustrator. Hilda studied illustration at Reigate School of Art and later did a second degree in English at University College, London. She has written and illustrated over a dozen picture books including Nice Work Little Wolf!, which won the Smarties Award, and Good Girl, Gracie Growler! and Elephant Pie (published in Happy Cat Books). She has written and illustrated six stories about Rita the Rescuer, the latest being Rita at Rocky Park (First Young Puffin). Hilda Offen regularly visits schools and libraries and loves talking to children. She lives in Brighton, Sussex.
