Synopsis

Dr Dorothy Shepherd had wide experience both in Harley Street and in clinics in the poorer parts of London. Although she had leanings towards Homoeopathy during her student years, it was not until she visited the world-famous Dr J. T. She has discussed one plant for each of twenty two letters of the alphabet and this revised edition includes a new chapter on 'Yarrow the Sacred Herb' and a full index.
The history of the plants is given in a most fascinating way together with many personal anecdotes which make absorbing reading.
