Clinical Sports Medicine Companion Handbook follows in line with the condensed versions of all the main McGraw-Hill tomes, eg Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine, Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery, Murtagh’s General Practice, Tintinalli’s Emergency Medicine and Hurst’s The Heart, all of which have produced companion handbooks.
The concept of the companion handbook is to provide a summarized, pocket version of the main book to supplement rather than substitute it. So in effect, they mirror the structure of the main book in every way, except only the essential practical clinical information is presented in a distilled, bullet-pointed format.
