New worked out examples and end-of-chapter problems have been added to further update the book.
The pedagogy of the book has been greatly enhanced to further the reader's understanding of the material. The chapters each open with a listing of the main sections, a general statement of what is to come, and objectives. Optional topics within chapters are marked with a star.
