Twenty-five centuries ago, Sun Tzu, master military strategist and tactician, wrote his classic treatise The Art of War, in which he outlined the simple but vital principles needed to win battles and wars. Now Vietnam veteran and securities trading superstar Dean Lundell shows you how to apply Sun Tzu's battle-proven techniques to making enormous profits investing in stocks, commodities, bonds, and currencies.

From the Author:
Learn how to think, strategize, plan and execute for success
Having spent most of my adult life on Wall Street, I was a trader long before I was a writer. Every trader looks for an edge and I'm no different. When I read the original Art of War some time ago, it really opened my eyes. Being a combat veteran of Vietnam, the analogy of conflict in the markets was complelling. In our financial environment today the markets are in constant conflict. How you manage this conflict and more importantly yourself, will to a large degree determine your success.

I had originally wrote a series of aphorisms based on the teachings in the Art of War and their appicability to trading and investing. My partner said that I should share this wisdom with the rest of the world. I expanded those original aphorisms into a book that everyone can understand.

I am very fortunate to have a world class publisher in McGraw-HIll. They recognized the value in these pages and it is my hope that you will as well.

From the Back Cover:
Can Sun Tzu's 2,500-year-old secrets for winning wars make you a fortune in today's financial markets? For more than 25 centuries, generals and commanders won tremendous battles against overwhelming odds by following the uncannily effective battle strategies in Sun Tzu's classic treatise, The Art of War. Now megasuccessful securities trader and ex-soldier Dean Lundell shows you how to apply Sun Tzu's winning tactics to making enormous profits trading stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities in today's markets. Financial markets, like opposing sides in a war, are in constant conflict. And like participants in war, investors in financial markets either win or lose. Compiled in the sixth century B.C. from the teachings of Sun Tzu, a Chinese general and philosopher, The Art of War has helped armies win battles the world over, and is required reading at military academies. Dean Lundell has applied these teachings to achieving victory in financial markets with amazing success. In Sun Tzu's Art of War for Traders and Investors, Lundell shows you whether you're a seasoned trader or an amateur investor how to come out ahead. . .and make a lot more money than "investment warriors" not armed with these key strategies.
