A spiritual psychology of hunting
I wrote this book to clear up many misconceptions about the motivations of hunters in general; to describe how when hunting is undertaken with deep, heartfelt conviction, it can lead one to an understanding of the deepest ethical values about life, love and ecology. This position is not just based on my own feelings, but as I describe in the book, it is based on the conclusions of many eminent behavioral scientists including Freud, Jung, Menninger, and most importantly Erik Fromm.
