I began learning the use of animal fetishes over 30 years ago, for divination and for spiritual and personal guidance. After writing about this system and teaching it for many years, I decided to offer it to a larger reading public. While I do not teach the use of fetishes within a particular spiritual tradition, this work is based on Zuni teachings, combined with what I have learned from other Earth-based spiritual systems, including some ancient Celtic and early European teachings. I also teach how to carve fetishes from stone in a way that is deeply personal and spiritual. The use of fetishes is very much a part of my daily spiritual practice.
