Robert Hofler is senior editor at Variety. He has spent over thirty-five years as an entertainment journailst, having worked previously at Life and Us magazine. His prior nonfiction works include the Henry Willson biography The Man Who Invented Rock Hudson, Varietys The Movie That Changed My Life, and the Allan Carr biography Party Animals. He lives in Los Angeles.
