An introduction to teaching and methods for the student with extensive field exposure, LENSES ON TEACHING, THIRD EDITION, is a combined workbook and text meant to focus student teacher observations in elementary and secondary classrooms. The authors address issues such as, cultural diversity in the classroom, ethics, and school reform and restructuring, with readings and exercises designed to fit cohesively with virtually any core text. Discussions and topics maximize classroom creativity and are easily modified to fit specific field sites and concepts. Designed to successfully function as a field guide or supplement to an introductory or methods text. LENSES ON TEACHING includes readings, observations, and structured interviewing tasks.
