Rapid Maths allows individuals or pairs to practise skills in the objectives of the Calculations strand of the Framework, using ITC. The content is also suitable for the relevant Scottish 5-14 Guidelines.
Each disk has four games, each with 3 levels of difficulty; two quizzes, each with 3 levels of difficulty, plus recording and diagnostic facilities for the teacher. (There are no quizzes at Reception level)
Pupils select their name from a list pre-recorded by the teacher. Quizzes are timed and the results recorded. Questions are random as default but can be pre-set by the teacher.
Rapid Maths gives constructive feedback, such as number lines or hundred squares, when pupils have difficulties.
